Wheels born to race
Our vision: Leading ride quality, power transfer and durability.
Common complaints of other aero carbon wheels are a lack of stability in crosswinds, marginalised braking performance and spoke / build fragility. With our MEIYO wheels we wanted to address those issues and decided to develop our wheel design starting from scratch with build quality, strength and performance at the forefront of our remit. Using a combination of experience and the latest design and manufacturing techniques we looked at everything; carbon fiber, weaving, resin, layup, rim design, drilling, hub design and more. Everything was tried and tested.
A new race wheel was born!
Ride tests with our UCI professional team affirmed everything we set out to accomplish. With full confidence in stability and increased braking performance as well as improved heat resistance and greater power transfer came a new wheel; MEIYO Zen wheelset was born.
